Plastic and Screws

When I joined Gold Dot’s photo giveaway last month, I knew I had a slim chance of winning. Though I really appreciate the efforts of those who found time to vote for me, I was happy with merely participating and getting my face out there not really focusing on the winnings.

So anyway, I wasn’t able to make it to the top three, but Gold Dot, as generous as they are, gave the other participants a consolation prize.

I browsed through their site and was held back by the options to choose from.

In the end I opted to get an item from their Automaton collection because of the kick-ass concept. After deliberating on what accessory I really need more in my life (hehe), I chose to get Thysz necklace.

The necklace is made of a thick type of plastic. And the main design is the set of bolts and screws attached to it. Wicked idea, don’t you think?

I have several necklaces at my disposal but adding up such a good piece, and a conversational piece at that, made my collection even more beautiful. :)
