Style Break Goodness
If you’ve been reading my blog since June, you’re probably aware of my huge admiration for Laureen Uy. She’s one of the top fashion bloggers in the country that I religiously follow. You can read more about what I like about her here.
Anyway, when I was still working for this planner company, I was able to create a sort-of connection with Laureen via email. I was supposed to get her as a speaker for an event that I was handling. Unfortunately, it didn’t push through.
I kept her number in my phone. And just last month contacted her about StyleBreak.
StyleBreak is the brainchild of Laureen and her friend Katrina Loring. Since its emergence in the world wide web, I’ve been a fan of the shop. But only last month was I able to finally get my hands on some of their goodies.

As mentioned, I contacted Laureen herself to inquire about the availability of some of the items. I’ve been wanting to own a maxi dress so this item instantly became a must-buy.

I was supposed to wear this with a tank top plus the D&G sunglasses that I won from Little Miss Dress Up, but decided to go grandma-ish by pairing it with a long sleeved top.

To avoid looking too conservative, I wore some edgy accessories for an added appeal, which I think it worked well.

I’m such a happy bee to finally have StyleBreak items in my closet. And thanks to Laureen for being so nice all throughout our nego process. :)
